Retreat week is here!

Donna has put together a daily prayer schedule for us, please join us in prayer:

Prayers for Retreat 2014

Our theme this year for retreat is His Grace.   2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is all you need.  My power works best in weakness.” (NLT)  As we prepare our hearts for retreat we need to develop an attitude of expectancy and realize that Jesus is patiently and personally waiting to meet us there.

Monday January 6-Praise God for all the planning and preparation that has gone into this retreat.  Pray that last minute details will fall into place.  Pray to bind satan and that he is not allowed to touch or disrupt anyone or anything for the retreat in any way.

Tuesday January 7-Pray for Joanne and her preparation that she expresses to the women what God has laid on her heart.  Pray for a hedge of protection around her--for her health and safety.  Pray for Kelly Pitt as she shares her testimony.

Wednesday January 8-Pray for Nina, Kat and Tylar as they prepare to lead the praise and worship.  Pray that all the equipment works.  Pray that the Lord is clearly  seen, heard, and glorified through our time of praise and worship.

Thursday January 9-Pray for those women who come with a burden and are in need of a touch from The Master.  Pray that they find the comfort and peace that they need through a word, a song or a conversation.  Pray that women come away with a renewed love for God and that lives are change for those who need to come to know Him as their personal Savior.
Friday January 10-Pray for safety for all of the women who are traveling to the retreat and that they come with an excitement to hear His voice.  Pray for anointed conversations and friendships that develop during retreat and that women see Him in all that takes place.  Pray for those who are staying at home with children while the women are at retreat.  Praise Him for all that He is going to do this weekend!

In Acts 11:23 Paul said that when Barnabas came to Antioch he saw that many had come to believe in the Lord.  “When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose.”  May His grace be evident in all that is done at retreat and that we remain faithful.
