10 Days until the start of Bible Study!

Women in the Word Community Bible Study

We had our leadership meeting and boy are we all in "Holy Anticipation" for the start of another amazing season being in God's word.  In order to celebrate our start, we'll be posting a 10 day countdown of suggestions and prayers to bring us all back up to speed.

6 Days to the start of Bible Study:

What women found encouraging from our biblestudy survey:

Prayer - Praying for others as well as being prayed for,
Focus on Him,
Being with others who love the Lord and want to learn,
NavPress material,
developing relationships,
Large group teaching,
Weekly lessons that are very applicable to life,
Fellowship with like minded women,
Closeness in small groups

Prayer: Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth , as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdon and the Power and The Glory Forever and Ever, Amen.

#7 Days before the start of Bible Study:

"Hannah - A Woman Of Faith" serves to remind us that all women of faith...
a. Endure real problems
b. Extend vibrant prayers
c. Experience God's provisions
d. Excel at keeping promises
e. Express their praise

Pray for the new women who will be attending WIW. Pray that they will see Jesus through all that we say and do and that they will develop a closer walk with Him. Pray for those women who will be coming that may not know Jesus as their personal Savior and that they will come to know Him through the study.

#8 Days until the start of Bible Study:

Mutual Indwelling: Jill Rommell suggests checking out "Unceasing Worship" by Harold Best.

As the Holy Trinity dwell together, we also dwell together.  We are the temple for the Holy Spirit withing a temple (the church) within a temple (Jesus Christ).  So we are individuals and yet we dwell within one another.  (I feel like breaking out and singing "We are the World").

Prayer:  Praise God for this Bible study.  Pray that God will be glorified in all that we do and say this year.  Thank God for Clearwater Community Church and their staff for providing us with the facility and their generosity toward us.  Bind satan's attempt to disrupt the study!

#9 Kelly Pitt suggests:

15 Minutes of Peace with God by Emily Barnes
Cooking, cleaning, family, work, church---your schedule is choc full. But there's nothing more important than scheduling an "appointment" for peace with God. In the time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee, you'll discover inspiration, renewal, and encouragement.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray for my own prayer time with you. “My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘LORD, I am coming’” - Psalm 27:8. In Jesus name, Amen.

#10 - Read 2 Samuel in the Message Bible.  The Message reads like a novel and will give us an overall feeling and perspective of this narrative.  If you don't have a Message Bible...here's a free link:

Prayer:   Jesus, I pray You would bring back the holy anticipation and wonder back to my prayer life. Renew my spirit and enthusiasm for You and reignite my faith to believe You can move the mountains in my life and in the lives of others.  Amen
